More flying on Wednesday, 7/18

Hey Peeps,

When we landed in Amsterdam from Detroit we were going threw airport and saw people we knew in AMSTERDAM. We were on one of the moving sidewalks going towards our gate when going the way we came from the the SEC team going home from Poland. It was a very cool experience. We went to our gate, dropped everything off then went back to find them. We talked with them on how their trip was and how our trip was going to be. We then left them and went to a Rembrandt museum gallery that was setup in the airport, got to occupy your 4 hour layover somehow. Well anyway, we then got on our flight to Dubai. Daniel was right, once you get on the plane, you forget where you're from or even where you're going. You get this feeling of "Am I going to be on the plane for the rest of my life?" We then took a joke that Jordan gave us right before we left, "Cracker Barrel was good this morning!". At this point in our journey all of the days were running together and we couldn't remember what day it was and basically couldn't think in general. After arriving in Dubai, we then went through security to get into the airport and checked into the hotel. The hotel was the nicest that I had ever stayed in and for $150 a person per night, it better be. It had all granite floors and walls in the bathroom and a granite design as a walkway going into the room. Mark and stayed together in a room, Russ and Bob, and the Lindsay and Nichole in a room.In each room, there were 2 twin size mattresses, a couch, tv, and some armoir's - typical hotel stuff. But, let me tell you about these beds...They were the softest mattresses ever and they just felt good to lay down and sleep. We were in Dubai a total of 8 hours. There was supposed to be a 3am wake up call so that we could all meet in the lobby by 4. Well somehow, Lindsay and Nichole's wake up call was at 1:30 so they of course got up and went down to the lobby. They then quickly realized how early it was and then went back up stairs to sleep a little more. HAHAHAHA. Well, at 4am the real time to get up, lol, we prayed and then continued. When we checked in at the counter, Bob had some trouble with Ashena which was the airline going into Dubai. Our tickets for this airline were handwritten. We all had the tickets in hand, but they were only showing 5 in the system. But, the was quickly resolved and then we were on our way.
